SUN and News of the World Bingo Move to New Software Platform, Tombola Stays the Same!

August 25, 2008

Although The Sun and News of the World Bingo have moved to a new software platform with effect from 26th August 2008, this does not mean that players who love these bingo sites will be left out in the cold. In order to access the new online bingo sites, they will have to re-register with the new sites in order to play. However, all old members who wish to stick with their familiar Tombola games can also do so.

All they have to do to play online bingo with the Tombola games from the 26th August is use their old Sun Bingo or NOTW user name and password and they will be able to login as ever before. Hamster race, Battleships, Cinco, Bingo 90, 80 and 75 are only going to be available from the Tombola.co.uk website. These old favourite games will not move with sunbingo.co.uk and notwbingo.co.uk. From midnight on the 25th August these games will no longer be available at the two newspaper online bingo sites.

Tombola has operated all the games on these sites since inception and they still manage all players’ accounts and will continue to do so. The chat moderators are also a part of the Tombola team, so they will remain the same as will the chat rooms, so if you are a plum a fan of the hamsters or a pinkie, you are still able to play in these old favourite rooms at Tombola.

There are a great deal of new promotions lined up and the “reload” bonus is available to all players who registered with Tombola under the auspices of The Sun and NOTW, so even after the 26th August, all new players will still have access to this bonus up to the maximum value of ₤25.
