Paddy Power Bingo have just had their first ever European championship online bingo winner at their site. One very lucky player called Robert Robinson, who comes from Nottinghamshire has just be crowned European Championship winner for 2008! The lucky man battled it out against over 660 other likeminded bingo players to win this great title and drive away in a brand new Chevrolet Aveo Car!
The European Championship games were the first of their kind over at Paddy Power Bingo and they ran them to coincide with the Euro 2008 football tournament. Out of the 660 online bingo players that took part in the qualifying rounds only 50 made it through to the finals that took place on 29th June, with Robert walking away victorious!
All finalists were treated to, two whole hours of free online bingo where they battled it out to win a number of amazing prizes that were up for grabs including the new car, a weekend in Paris, free flights for a year and a home make over, plus many, many more. No player was left disappointed either as all finalist received a great prize on the night!
A very happy Mr Robinson had this to say to Paddy Power Bingo after his great prize bingo win of a brand new car: “I can’t believe it. I’ve never won anything as big as this before. It took me two hours solid to slug it out and qualify for the final but it was well worth it. I’m glad England weren’t in Euro 2008 now or I might not have entered and won the car!”
