888 CEO Gigi Levi has given the thumbs up to 888Ladies, claiming that it is the fastest-growing division in the company’s impressive portfolio.  In the last quarter, revenue from the online bingo service has quadrupled – an incredible statistic as people look to cut costs and companies like Gala announce major restructuring.  888Ladies are defying all predictions as the credit crunch bites all round.  Just how are they managing this?

It seems that 888Ladies have discovered a new demographic to target.  Breaking with the tradition of old ladies gathering in village halls with a gin and tonic each, the online casino has aggressively targeted a younger group of ladies, using an image of sparkly pink femininity that has caught on with a key growth market.  Younger women are earning more by comparison with their predecessors, and consequently have more money to spend – and a healthy number are spending that on online bingo.
